In order to thank our staff members for their selfless contributions and dedication to the development of the University, CityU organized a flower gifting event on March 8 – the International Women’s Day. In the festive atmosphere, Vice Chairperson of University Council Prof. Kong and Acting Head of Human Resources Office Ms. Chong sent flowers to all female colleagues on behalf of the University, conveying good wishes and warm care to all of them, while promoting the values of gender equality.

 Our female staff members have long been working diligently in their positions with a professional and responsible attitude, playing important roles in various fields of the University with professionalism. The University hopes our female colleagues can feel the University’s care and appreciation for their hard work through this festive event. All ladies who received the flowers expressed their gratitude towards CityU’s thoughtfulness. This special event made them feel valued and cared for, motivating them to continue making more contributions to the University’s development.

 City University of Macau has always been adhering to the “people-oriented” spirit, paying attention to the physical and mental development of all staff members, and would also like to promote the importance of work-life balance.
