Functions and Scope of Works

  • Implementing the personnel-related policies, strategies and the decision of management regarding the talent recruitment works
  • Developing strategies for recruiting talents for the development of the University
  • Arranging orientations for new staff
  • Developing training program for staff development needs and holding training courses regularly
  • Organizing the annual appraisal and performance review
  • Developing performance review program to motivate and reward staff
  • Responsible for the payroll, planning, adjustment, declaration and implementation of staff salary and various types of subsides
  • Handling staff attendance and leave affairs
  • Handling staff insurance issues including declaration, payment and other related affairs
  • Assisting the declaration of Salaries Tax and other related affairs
  • Arranging/coordinating regular staff gatherings
  • Responsible for the staffing of the University, headship selection and appointment of administrative units
  • Handling application, renewal and termination of work permits
  • Responsible for the development and management of the personnel information network and system
  • Preparation of the personnel policies and regulations, conducting research and analysis to continuously improve the personnel system
  • Enhancement of the current personnel policies and regulations
