CityU Delegation visited Taiwan Region to Enhance Academic and Cultural Exchange

In order to strengthen connections and collaboration with higher education institutions in Taiwan Region, and to expand academic exchange and talent recruitment efforts, the Faculty of Innovation and Design at the City University of Macau recently organized a delegation for academic visits in Taiwan Region. The delegation was led by Pro-Rector Chu Te Lin and Executive Associate Dean of the Faculty of Innovation Design, Wang Po Hsun. Thirteen members, including Professor Dai Dingcheng and administrative staff, participated in the visit.

During the five-day visit, CityU visited several universities in Taiwan, including National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Tainan National University of the Arts, National Cheng Kung University, Shu-Te University, and National Kaohsiung Normal University. The delegation members toured the teaching environments and facilities of each university, engaged in meetings and presentations with faculty members, and held in-depth discussions on potential areas of future collaboration. This visit not only deepened mutual understanding but also fostered closer and friendlier cooperative relationships between CityU and several universities in Taiwan, laying a solid foundation for future academic exchange and talent development.

CityU will fully utilize its own advantages, strive to realize the development vision of “Macao Characteristics, China’s Soul and Global Vision”, actively undertake more social responsibilities, and implement the concept of “Education for Macao, Talents for Macao”, so as to contribute more to the higher education industry in the region.  In the future, CityU will further deepen its cooperation and academic exchange with universities in Taiwan Region, working together to create new chapters in talent cultivation and academic development.
