CityU Delegation visited Japanese universities to promote talent interaction and exchange

To promote ongoing international talent exchange and attract global talents to join, Pro-Rector Vince Chu of City University of Macau recently visited Tokushima Bunri University and Kobe Gakuin University in Japan, introducing Macau SAR’s current “1+4” strategy for moderate economic diversification and talent attraction system, as well as the advantages and opportunities of CityU Macau in teaching, research, and academic development.

During the visit to Tokushima Bunri University, Pro-Rector Chu was warmly received by President Yoshiyuki Tamura and Professor Takamichi Takahashi, the Dean of International Affairs Department, Faculty of Policy Studies. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions regarding future talent interaction and exchange directions, laying a solid foundation for future collaborations. Through this exchange, both parties explored cooperation opportunities in teaching, research, and other areas, opening up new pathways for academic exchange and talent cultivation between the two regions.

Subsequently, Pro-Rector Chu visited Kobe Gakuin University, where the delegation received a warm welcome from President Megumi Nakamura and Mr. Chiaki Sumi, the Administrative General Director for University. They showcased the university’s facilities and provided detailed information on its current development, deepening the potential for future cooperation between the two universities.
