Delegation of CityU visited and recruited in the University of Tokyo

In order to continuously attract outstanding talent from around the world, a delegation from City University of Macau recently visited the University of Tokyo in Japan for three consecutive days. They also conducted an on-site academic recruitment fair. The delegation members included Pro-Rector Vince Chu, Associate Dean of Faculty of Business José Paulo Esperança, and Assistant Professor Dr. Yoyo Kong from the Faculty of Data Science.

The recruitment fair targeted recent or current doctoral or postdoctoral candidates studying or working at the University of Tokyo and its surrounding areas. The delegation explained to the participants the advantages and opportunities of City University in teaching, research, and academic development. They also provided detailed information on Macau SAR’s current “1+4” strategy for moderate economic diversification and talent recruitment programme.

Pro-Rector Chu introduced the current situation of Macau and City University of Macau to the participants of the event.

The event received enthusiastic response with a large number of participants.
