In order to actively support the efforts of the Macao SAR Government in promoting national security education, enhance staff members’ awareness on national security, core values of “loving the motherland and loving Macao”, as well as uphold the fundamental principle of “patriots governing Macao,” City University of Macau organizes staff members to visit the “National Security Education Exhibition” on May 8 (Wednesday).

During the visit, colleagues visited five special exhibition areas. They learned about new achievements in national development, breakthroughs in national security systems and watched the competition essays and short videos related to “Cybersecurity in My Heart”. Colleagues gained an understanding on the importance of cyber security to national security. After the visit, colleagues said that the exhibition was very meaningful. Through this event, they could deeply understand that maintaining national security is the responsibility and obligation of every citizen. They will also strengthen their vigilance against national security risks in daily lives, and jointly safeguard national security and the prosperity and stability of Macao society.

City University of Macau has consistently upheld its social responsibility and educational philosophy of “serving Macao, integrating into the Greater Bay Area.” The University always attaches great importance to staff training and development, as well as the awareness of national security and promoting patriotism and patriotic education. We will continue to hold relevant series of activities and seminars in the future to continuously enhance staff members’ knowledge and understanding of related fields.
