During the five-day visit, the delegation first visited the globally renowned National University of Singapore, where they toured the campus facilities and engaged in presentations and exchanges with the university’s doctoral students. Professor Xi Li (Executive Associate Dean of the Faculty of International Tourism and Management), Assistant Professor Max Kuok (from the Faculty of Data Science), and Assistant Professor Claire Ouyang (from the Faculty of Education) were all enthusiastic in responding to the students’ questions.

The delegation then continued their visit to the University of Malaya, where they received a warm welcome from the Director of International Relations Centre, Prof. Andri Andriyana, and representatives from other faculties and departments. A campus tour and guided walk were arranged. During subsequent presentations and exchanges with the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education, faculty members, and doctoral students, the delegation provided detailed information about the future development of the university, and the students expressed a high level of interest in working in Macao.

CityU will fully utilize its own advantages, strive to realize the development vision of “Macao characteristics, Chinese soul, international vision”, actively undertake more social responsibilities, and implement the concept of “Education for Macao, Talents for Macao”, so as to contribute more to the higher education industry in the region. In the future, CityU plans to utilize the connections established through this exchange to initiate various forms of collaboration, providing a broader international platform for students and faculty, fostering knowledge exchange and cultural mutual learning, and thereby enhancing the international influence of City University of Macau.
