CityU hosts “Mother’s Day Korean-Style Flower Cake Workshop” for Staff Members to Express Gratitude and Love to Their Loved Ones

In anticipation of Mother’s Day, City University of Macau hosts “Mother’s Day Korean-Style Flower Cake Workshop” for staff members on May 11 (Saturday), allowing staff members to make meaningful carnation-shaped cakes to express their gratitude and love to their loved ones.

Under the guidance of professional instructors, colleagues carefully drew lifelike carnations with vivid colors on the cake. The flowers painted during the event are not only a delicious dessert, but also a living creation that conveys beautiful blessings. Colleagues who participated expressed a strong sense of accomplishment looking at the carnations they drew, and hoped that their mothers would feel their gratitude and love when receiving this cake.

City University of Macau recognizes the significance of our staff members. We have always been embracing a people-oriented principle and are committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance for all. In line with the commitment, Human Resources Office will continue to organize the Leisure Workshop Series as part of our staff caring initiatives, creating a platform for staff members to interact and enjoy leisure moments outside of work hours. At the same time, we would like to send holiday blessings to the great mothers, and hereby wish all mothers a happy Mother’s Day!
