Delegation of CityU visited renowned universities in Australia

In order to strengthen connections and collaborations with international higher education institutions, promote talent exchange, and attract outstanding scholars to join, Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei led a delegation from City University of Macau on a recent visit to Australia. The delegation visited four internationally renowned universities: the University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney, UNSW, and Macquarie University. Pro-Rector So and Pro-Rector Chu were also part of the delegation.

During the visit to the University of Technology Sydney, the delegation was warmly received and organized a recruitment fair, where they introduced City University of Macau and Macau’s talent recruitment policies to the doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers in attendance. The event received a warm welcome. Subsequently, the delegation visited the UNSW, the University of Sydney, and Macquarie University, engaging in friendly exchanges and sharing experiences, laying a strong foundation for future collaborations.

CityU will continue to leverage its strengths and strive for better development in line with its vision of “Macao Characteristics, China Soul, Global Vision.” The university is committed to adhering to the SAR government’s administrative principles of “letting Macao thrive through education” and “building Macao with talented people,” and will shoulder its social responsibilities while making greater contributions to the higher education in the region.

Other members of the delegation included Jacky Li Xi, executive associate dean of the Faculty of International Tourism and Management, Andy Liu Wenjian, associate dean of the Faculty of Data Science, Sheng Jian, head of the Research Management Office, and Lewis Chao Chan Chong, head of the Student Affairs Office.
