To welcome the upcoming Father’s Day, the Human Resources Office of City University of Macau recently held a series of Father’s Day activities, including the “University Leadership presenting gifts from social service organizations” and the “Father’s Day Miniature Potted Plant Workshop,” to express appreciation for staff members who are also fathers for their diligent work and dedication.

During the event, Rector Liu Jun, Vice Rector Zhou Wanlei and Vice Rector Chin Chee Seong visited faculties and administrative departments to present commodities from the social service agency “Fuhong Society of Macau” to working fathers and express gratitude for their dedication to CityU. The University would also like to take this opportunity to fulfill its social responsibility. Staff members who received the gifts expressed their appreciation for the University’s kindness and felt touched.

Furthermore, the University held a “Father’s Day Miniature Potted Plant Workshop,” where staff members could create a one-of-a-kind potted plant as an unforgettable and cherished gift for their loved ones. The workshop instructor provided a clear demonstration and explanation of the types of potted plants, making steps, and precautions during the production process. Participants followed the teacher’s instructions to make potted plants, which showcased their talents and created a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. A colleague expressed his gratitude for the University organizing this workshop, which allowed him to spend time making miniature potted plants for his father, expressing his appreciation to the hero in his heart and creating an unforgettable Father’s Day.

City University of Macau has always been adhering to the “people-oriented” spirit, paying attention to the physical and mental development of all staff members, and would also like to promote the importance of work-life balance by organizing the leisure workshop.
