Colleagues who received the gifts expressed their gratitude to the University and felt heartwarming.

In addition, the University also held a “Mother’s Day Essential Oil Perfume Workshop”, where participating staff can prepare a unique essential oil perfume to be given as an unforgettable and treasured gift to their loved ones. The workshop instructor explained the design and combination of essential oils in detail. They used various essential oils to combine a bottle of perfume with unique fragrance. Some colleagues appreciated the University for organizing the workshop so that they could prepare heartfelt gifts for their mothers. Another colleague expressed that she had never made essential oil perfume before and felt it was quite challenging, which was just like becoming a mother and that she was also trying to find a balance between work and family. This workshop let her take a break from the busy schedule, and she also wanted to use this perfume as her first Mother’s Day gift.

City University of Macau has always been adhering to the “people-oriented” spirit, paying attention to the physical and mental development of all staff members, and would also like to promote the importance of work-life balance by organizing the leisure workshop. The University hopes that this event will make colleagues feel cared for and valued by the University, and at the same time send festive greetings to our great mothers. Happy Mother’s Day to all!
