CityU holds “Student Incident Crisis Intervention and Handling Skills” Workshop

In order to continuously improve the risk management skills of our staff members in handling student incident and to build a harmonious campus, the University has invited Judiciary Police of Macau to hold a “Student Incident Crisis Intervention and Handling Skills” workshop in campus on 7th April, introducing the processes and techniques in handling such incidents.

Mr. Wu Ka Kin, Leading Criminal Investigator of the Judiciary Police, introduced the team composition and work focus of the Crisis Negotiation Team of Judiciary Police in detail. Through the sharing of actual cases, he explained the types of student incidents, the specific handling methods and precautions in this regard. The content is profound and practical. Staff who participated in the workshop said that this activity has benefited them a lot. It not only helps staff members to make the most correct response in facing emergency situations, but also improves their resilience student incident crisis. It also helps to prevent such incidents, ensuring the safety of the campus.
