Chinese New Year Tangyuan Workshop

As the Chinese New Year is approaching, to celebrate the first festival in 2022, the University held a Chinese New Year Tangyuan Workshop on January 22. Participants could make their own Tangyuan (glutinous rice ball with fillings) and share them with family members and friends to celebrate the festival. As the upcoming year is the Year of Tiger, this workshop has used tiger as the theme with Chinese New Year elements to make Tangyuan. The atmosphere of the workshop was full of laughter and all staff members enjoyed the happy moment together.

Participants have all praised the cute shape of the Tangyuan in this workshop as they  matched the theme of the upcoming Year of the Tiger, so it is very suitable for sharing with children during the reunion dinner. Some colleagues also said that they would like to give the Tangyuan to relatives and friends to enjoy the festival together.

City University of Macau has always been adhering to the “people-oriented” spirit, paying attention to the physical and mental development of all staff members. With this event, the University also hopes to send the best wishes to all colleagues and their families, and thanks them for their support to the University in the past years. Wish you all good health and a prosperous Year of the Tiger!
