As Mother’s Day is approaching, to celebrate this special day, the University held a “Mother’s Day Eternal Flower Lamp Workshop” for staff members on May 5 for them to send their hearts and wishes to mothers who have worked hard to take care of the family. Staff can design and make their own eternal flower lamps, and express the gratitude to their mothers with the flowers.

The workshop instructor gave a detailed explanation on the design and combination of the floral materials. Our staff all gave full play to their creative talents and used different materials prepared by the instructor to combine unique flower arrangements. The workshop was enjoyable. A colleague said that she had never tried eternal flower handicrafts making before, and felt that it was more challenging and interesting than making gift boxes with fresh flowers. Another colleague expressed her gratitude to the University for holding this workshop, so that she could prepare this surprise gift for his mother. She believes that her mother will be very happy to receive this gift.

City University of Macau has always been adhering to the “people-oriented” spirit, paying attention to the physical and mental development of all staff members, and would also like to promote the importance of work-life balance by organizing the leisure workshop.
