Senior Clerk – Student Affairs Office

Job Description

  • Manage student dormitory bed allocation, check-in and check-out procedures, and coordinate all matters related to student accommodation;
  • Handle inquiries and complaints from residential students and their parents, and issue dormitory-related notices and policy information;
  • Enforce student dormitory regulations, record violations, and maintain order and arrangements in the dormitory;
  • Respond to dormitory emergencies and high-risk cases, provide immediate support as needed, and make appropriate referrals;
  • Plan and implement dormitory culture and care activities to promote residential students’ sense of belonging, cultural adaptation, and physical and mental well-being;
  • Collaborate with internal university departments and external organizations to promote dormitory safety, publicity, and exchange activities;
  • Participate in the revision of dormitory-related policies, prepare work reports, and manage budget execution;
  • Handle daily administrative tasks and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree holder or above, Management or a related field is preferred;
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience, priority will be given to candidates with experience in student affairs, dormitory management, event planning, or educational institutions;
  • Possess experience in organizing activities, including assisting with activity preparation, implementation, and logistical support;
  • Priority will be given to candidates with experience inhandling crisis or emergency cases, including but not limited to assisting with student emotional issues, behavioral disorders, or urgent incidents;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with students, parents, and staff from different departments;
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, independence, maturity, proactiveness, team spirit, and a strong passion for student affairs and student services;
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, with proficiency in written Chinese and English;
