CityU Launches “Regulation Refresher Training Series” to Strengthen Campus Cybersecurity

To enhance staff members’ comprehension of the University’s regulations, as well as to unify the University’s administrative criteria and improve operational efficiency, City University of Macau launched the “Regulation Refresher Training Series” on the afternoon of 29 May 2026. This second session focused on the theme “Information & Cybersecurity”.

The training was delivered by Head of Information Technology Office Mr. Deke Chan, who provided a systematic overview of key topics including the guidelines on staff members computer usage policy, guidelines on IT equipment management, guidelines on data security and cybersecurity. The session aimed to help staff members deepen their understanding of relevant regulations based on existing knowledge, while reinforcing their sense of compliance and accountability. City University of Macau has consistently placed strong emphasis on professional conduct and ethical standards among its staff members, and has continued to refine related policies and supporting measures. This training further provides a systematic overview of key institutional regulations and share practical work experience, supports the ongoing advancement of standardized and efficient administration, and steadily strengthens the University’s compliance culture.

Upholding its mission of “Serving Macao and Integrating into the Greater Bay Area,” the University will continue to roll out the “Regulation Refresher Training Series.” Different functional units will be invited to deliver thematic sessions on relevant regulations, enabling staff members to continuously consolidate and deepen their understanding of University policies. Through these efforts, the University aims to jointly enhance campus governance and further optimize overall service effectiveness.
