To continuously enhance staff members’ understanding and implementation of the University’s regulations, and to further strengthen administrative standards and operational efficiency on a solid existing foundation, City University of Macau launched the “Regulation Refresher Training Series” on the afternoon of 28 April 2026. The first session focused on the theme “Staff Handbook and Code of Conduct.”
The training was delivered by Pro-Rector Vince Chu, who provided a systematic overview of key topics including the academic and administrative staff handbooks, code of conduct, workplace discipline, administrative procedures, and professional ethics. The session aimed to help staff members deepen their understanding of relevant regulations based on existing knowledge, while reinforcing their sense of compliance and accountability. City University of Macau has consistently placed strong emphasis on professional conduct and ethical standards among its staff, and has continued to refine related policies and supporting measures. This training further promotes alignment and consistency across faculties and departments in both understanding and implementing institutional regulations, supports the ongoing advancement of standardized and efficient administration, and steadily strengthens the University’s compliance culture.

Upholding its mission of “Serving Macao and Integrating into the Greater Bay Area,” the University will continue to roll out the “Regulation Refresher Training Series.” Different functional units will be invited to deliver thematic sessions on relevant regulations, enabling staff members to continuously consolidate and deepen their understanding of institutional policies. Through these efforts, the University aims to jointly enhance campus governance and further optimize overall service effectiveness.
