As Father’s Day approaches, City University of Macau presented carefully selected tea sets to all faculty and staff who are working fathers, demonstrating respect and gratitude through this warm gesture for their heavy responsibilities in both family and career. The gesture aims to enable them to relax and adjust their pace by enjoying tea during busy work hours, while conveying profound festive blessings.

On the event day, Ms. Anita Chong, Acting Head of the Human Resources Office, represented the University to deliver gifts and sincere wishes to the fathers among the faculty and staff. A recipient shared, “This tea set is both exquisite and practical. Making a pot of tea during lunch breaks to relax— it feels the University truly cares about our needs.” Another colleague noted, “The University not only cares about our work but also considers our lives as fathers. This thoughtfulness is more precious than the gift itself.” A new father among the faculty said it was his first Father’s Day as a dad and the first gift he had received, adding that it would continue to inspire him in the future.

Upholding the “people-oriented” philosophy, City University of Macau has always regarded the work-life balance of faculty and staff as a key foundation for campus development, hoping they can maintain balance while dedicating themselves to work. In the future, the University will continue to address the physical and mental needs of its staff through diverse activities, supporting them to seek balance and shine in both career and family. Once again, we wish all fathers a happy Father’s Day, hoping every faculty father can feel the calm and warmth of life in the aroma of tea, enjoying family happiness and well-being!
