CityU Brings family together in Parent-Child Cookie Workshop

To promote intimate interaction between staff members and their children, City University of Macau successfully organized the “Parent-Child Cookie Workshop” on June 14, 2025. The event attracted many staff members accompanied by their children, creating warm parent-child moments amid the aroma of baking and cheerful laughter.

A professional baking instructor was specially invited to provide on-site guidance. Parents and children unleashed creativity together with specially prepared cartoon-shaped molds. Children eagerly pressed dough into various forms, while parents assisted in adjusting details. The tacit cooperation between parents and children filled the production process with joy.

During the baking session, children proudly displayed their personalized decorated cookies, igniting a lively atmosphere. “I rarely get the chance to do handicrafts with my child,” shared a participating colleague. Many parents noted that the workshop not only enhanced children’s hands-on abilities but also created precious parent-child interaction opportunities.

Upholding the “people-oriented” philosophy, City University of Macau has always paid attention to the family life and work balance of its staff. The parent-child cookie workshop not only conveyed a warm family atmosphere but also reflected the University’s thoughtful care for staff members and their families. In the future, the University will continue to launch parent-child activities to help build a dual connection between a harmonious campus and happy families.
