As the Spring Festival approaches, City University of Macau is filled with a vibrant festive atmosphere. To warmly welcome the Year of the Snake, the University has meticulously planned a series of colorful and traditional New Year celebrations aimed at celebrating this joyful occasion with every hardworking staff member, conveying heartfelt holiday wishes and joy.

Distribution of “New Year Pudding Coupons” and Writing Fai Chun Activity
To celebrate the Spring Festival and the New Year, the University has specially prepared New Year cake coupons for each staff member, symbolizing wishes for smooth careers and sweet lives in the Year of the Snake. This thoughtful gift not only expresses hope for the upcoming Spring Festival but also conveys beautiful wishes for the future. At the event, students from the Faculty of Innovation and Design showcased their exceptional calligraphy skills, writing auspicious phrases for the staff. Whether choosing neatly paired couplets or meaningful single lines, every stroke is filled with infinite hopes and blessings for the new year. Additionally, a fun fortune-telling activity was set up, allowing everyone to make wishes for the coming year in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, adding a touch of mystery and fun to the celebrations.







Chinese Incense Pendant Workshop
To promote traditional Chinese culture, a special event for making Chinese incense pendants has been organized. Under the guidance of professional instructors, staff members hand-mixed spices to create their own unique incense pendant. This process not only deepened participants’ understanding of the historical origins and cultural significance of this ancient craft but also allowed them to experience the warmth and charm unique to traditional culture, spreading love and blessings along with the fragrance.
